Programs

Honeybee Sponsorships

You Can Enjoy Helping Honeybees Without Being A Beekeeper - Let Us Take The Stings!

Saving the Honeybees offers several programs where you can play a role in helping to save the honeybees without becoming a beekeeper! Sponsor a Package of Bees, Sponsor a “Nuc” of Bees, and Sponsor-a-Hive are some of the packages at Saving the Honeybees. Each of these programs allow you to directly help honeybees without the trouble of operating your own beehives.

Maybe you don’t have the time, proper location, or don’t want to get stung! These programs offer an easy, hands-off way to aid nature’s pollination process while still giving you the satisfaction of doing your part to help the environment.

And there are rewards!  A Certificate for framing, hive visits, newsletters with info and pictures of the bees you sponsored, and more.  Of course, you’ll get the honey as well!   Saving the Honeybees proudly offers more honey than any similar organization in North America!  Click below for details.

The Wonderful People List

Hood Brook Apiary and Learning Center’s founder and operator, Bob Donovan, would like to thank a few people. People who were there for him when he went through rough times in the last few years and who supported his dreams and goals. Starting a business of this type with very little and doing it as a person with disabilities is even harder, it couldn’t have happened without these people!

Message from Founder/Operator Bob Donovan:

I’m sure I missed a few people and for that I’m sorry. However, this list may get longer as I remember.
